Description: Semantic MEDLINE Database (SemMedDB) provides text-mined assertions from PubMed and PubMed Central. Those assertions are derived from natural language processing (NLP) algorithms. Note that text-based assertions, while providing valuable information, must be interpreted with caution, as NLP algorithms may introduce inaccurate assertions. Moreover, SemMedDB is no longer being supported by the National Library of Medicine, so while the data are updated, the algorithms are not.
