Joint Interest Areas

Matt Schell edited this page Jun 25, 2021 · 1 revision

The New York City Department of City Planning defines Joint Interest Areas (JIA) as statistical geographies that cover territory not part of a community district. Joint Interest Areas fill in the gaps between community district tabulation areas.

Joint Interest Areas have codes like MN64 for Central Park, or QN80 for LaGuardia Airport.
