@emilia from the Discord has discovered that the ship gallery enforces a maximum of 8 line descriptions. Also, you will need to add newlines to the descriptions on your own, otherwise the gallery will cut in between words.
Since the font is variable-length (thankfully), it will be hard to judge where to put newlines without manual intervention.
On the flip side, only Indonesian, Korean, Traditional/Simplified Chinese, and Thai have KC3 quotes translations anyway. Out of these, only Indonesian and Thai need newlines, as Chinese and Korean are fixed-width.
mst_shiptext.xml
has been fully translated. This was done by matching each ship's quote to the ship name. For the most part, in Kancolle Vita the Kai editions say the exact same thing, but there are some exceptions that we have accounted for below:

from KC3 can be used toward this: the ship names in Unicode can be used as dict keys, and regex replace.

For the most part these are Kai/Kai Ni with no translation needed. In order to obtain the ship info, we should probably turn Ship name + ID into a hash table, and find the ID related to the base ship name, and use the attributes from there.
The big exception is Iowa, which needs to be manually added in: probably because she was added to the Vita game before the browser.
