  • 7/11/2016: New introduction and setup guide are available
  • 5/20/2016: Tutorial added (Using server/cloud/clusters to control Cytoscape)
  • 6/18/2015: User documentation updated
  • 6/14/2015: 0.9.17 released. Layout attributes and local table columns are supported.
  • 6/9/2015: 0.9.16 released. Now Layout parameters are accessible through API.
  • 6/5/2015: Python wrapper (py2cytoscape) released.
  • 6/4/2015: 0.9.15 Released. Updated for Cytoscape 3.2.1+ and Java 8.
  • 4/1/2015: 0.9.14 Released. Edge name bug in POST method has been fixed.
  • 3/23/2015: 0.9.13 Released. Minor bug fix release.
  • 3/18/2015: 0.9.12 Released. Many small bugs fixed.

  • 1/27/2015: 0.9.10 Released. Minor bug fix release.

  • 12/12/2014: 0.9.8 Released. POSTing Edge List now respects collection name.
  • 12/11/2014: 0.9.7 released. cyREST opens access from external tools, i.e., accepts connection other than localhost.
  • 11/9/2014: 0.9.6 released. TSV support for table GET method.
  • 10/14/2014: 0.9.3 released. This version has new Session API.
  • 10/6/2014: 0.9.0 released! It is available from App Store.
  • 9/30/2014: User documents and examples have been updated!
  • 9/22/2014: 0.9.0-beta released. This is the feature-freeze version.
  • 9/5/2014: cy-rest module alpha version released. This version includes some breaking changes and old R/Python samples may not work. I'll update them shortly. Also, some more details has been added to the REST API document.
  • 8/5/2014: cy-rest module pre-alpha version released for evaluation. This is for early adopters and we need your feedback!
