- Outdated language on Page 1 of the Incremental directs users: "Do NOT test COTS plug-ins. The test results of COTS plug-ins are not reported here. In the new window that opens after you select Test This Page, press F12 to open the Developer Tools toolbar in Internet Explorer (IE). In IE 9, set "Browser Mode: IE9" and "Document Mode: IE9 Standards" to disable Compatibility View." This language will be updated.
- Outdated language on Page 2 and 3 of the Incremental references the Certification Exam (instead of the Incremental). This language will be update.
- 4.D Keyboard - in Edge, if there is a keyboard trap, more than one field is highlighted when navigating. However, this is a bug – do not FAIL this issue for 4.D (however, 4.D may fail elsewhere).
- 4.F Focus Order - On some pages, the three main navigation links at the top are switched around and this is currently scored in the incremental as FAIL (but this should be PASS as this doesn’t affect meaning or operability of the page).
- 5.A (3.3.2-input-instructions) was split into two tests – 5.A (3.3.2-label-provided testing for presence of visual label, without evaluating accuracy or completeness) and 5.B (2.4.6 –label-descriptive, for accuracy and completeness of visual labels). Old 5.B becomes 5.C and so on. Check which version of the answer form is presented to answer this correctly.
- 5.F Error Identification - Incremental may score as FAIL although the error messages appears to be sufficient.
- Icons e.g. for audio player are not visible in IE11 (but you shouldn’t be using IE11 anyway).
- 12.D iframes - The iframe has a tabindex of -1, which should indicate that 12.D should be marked DNA, but results are scored as if the tabindex is greater than -1.
- 14.B Tables – headers with
<th>
but no scope markup should be PASS, but are scored as FAIL in the incremental.
- 17.B Audio Description - The scoring for AD may be incorrect.
- 18.A Resize text – Transcript window is not supposed to be resizable for failure of 18.A, but it can be resized in Edge and Chrome.
