Gradle 8.x changed how tasks in buildSrc are evaluated. Thus, move back to plain Gradle properties to provide SonaType credentials to the build. Set those properties via environment variables in GitHub Actions. With this change, the entire `buildSrc/` folder and the file `scripts/publish` became obsolete. While at it, merge two GitHub security-related pipelines. See https://docs.gradle.org/current/userguide/build_environment.html
