Using the Blue Robotics Thruster Commander

To turn on, plug into battery and wait for dial tones.

Each time you connect the battery, the potentiometers redefine the zeros of the speed and steering dials to the location of the white line on the dials. To start the dials at the same zero every time, rotate the dials until a slight hitch in the movement is felt, there is a small notch to indicate the middle of each dial.

One first dial controls the steering of both motors. Turning this dial in the positive direction will accelerate one motor more than the other, and turning it in the negative direction will accelerate the other motor more. To go straight you would need to turn the dial back to zero, otherwise, one motor will always be going faster than the other.

The second dial controls the speed of the motor and which direction they are propelled. Turning the dial clockwise will increase the speed in the forward direction. If you turn the dial past zero in the negative direction it will reverse the direction of both motors.
