Expanded testing to cover Go 1.18 to 1.23. Convinced our CI to use Makefiles instead of clumsy individual commands—robots deserve some stability too.

While testing the latest versions of TinyGo and Go, I noticed that the e2e tests were not being executed as part of CI. So I added a few
Makefile's to ensure they are run.WIP testing the CI
