Hello👋, I'm the author of Vue language tools and Volar.js. I have been working on Vue tooling for the past four years. Thanks to the support of StackBlitz and many sponsors, I have been able to work full-time on development for the past year and recently released version 2.0 after six months of development.

The extensions and tools we develop are open source and completely free, which means our work is sustained by the support of the community. Like many other OSS projects, Volar / Vue language tools have always had sustainability issues.

To alleviate this, we have introduced the Insiders subscription plan, with the goal of improving the project's sustainability in a fair and non-detrimental way to anyone's interests.

We will be developing and regularly releasing new Insiders versions in that repo.

What changes in the development process?

Stable and Insiders versions will be developed in sync. The stable version will continue to focus on bug fixes, performance improvements, and compatibility updates for Vue.

The Insiders version will focus on the development of features specific to the VSCode editor.
