The dataset is created by gathering underwater videos of fish in ponds and bio flocs related to the area of Tamil Nadu inland fisheries ponds. The pond area is in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu, and bio floc videos are collected from Srikazhi, Tamil Nadu. The video datasets are raw, as-it-is, without any preprocessing methods applied. The species mainly captured are fingers of koi "Cyprinus rubrofuscus", rohu "Labeo rohita", mrigal "Cirrhinus cirrhosus" and Katla "Catla catla",from Thanjavur and Koi fish and Mrigal from bio floc in Srikazhi in Tamil Nadu state of India.
