Glad to see you here! I'm Vinit Shahdeo, a Software Engineer with a strong passion for JavaScript and open-source. I'm honored to be recognized twice as a GitHub Star from India! With a knack for building event-driven architecture, I balance code with badminton 🏸 and find peace in a sip of tea 🍵 and poetry 🎙️.
Currently, I'm building seamless neobanking solutions at Novo as a Senior Backend Engineer, following 4.5 years as a Software Engineer at Postman. My notable contributions at Postman include building Interceptor and Integrations. Discover more about my Postman journey and valuable lessons. I've had the privilege of mentoring in Google Summer of Code (GSoC) at AsyncAPI and Postman. You can find me at @vinitshahdeo-novo

Apart from the pinned repositories, I have built:
- 🛡️ Peerlist README Badges (included in Peerlist official tools)
- 🔍 OpenAPI Web Search (part of GSoC at Postman)
- 💧 Water Monitoring System (part of Rails Girls Summer Of Code)
- 🦠 COVID-19 Tracker (featured in newspapers, blogs)
I mostly work with JavaScript, specifically Node.js in the backend with AWS as the cloud and Kafka as the queuing system. Recently, I have been tinkering with GoLang.
During Hacktoberfest, I initiated a program aimed at helping beginners kickstart their journey into open-source, impacting over 1200+ beginners worldwide. Currently, I'm seeking collaboration for #50DaysOfJavaScript, a community-led open-source initiative to enhance JavaScript skills to ace the next JS interviews. Please consider joining as a participant, mentor, or a community partner.
