In some places, the documentation is based on an old version of React with notes added for a later version. I think a better approach would be to base the docs on the latest React version and adding notes for previous versions where applicable.

Is this reasonable?

@filiptammergard i bet @eps1lon has a long wishlist - i'll be honest that its been like a year since i really used this in anger, which is why i've been very proactive about inviting folks like you as new owners

At some point I'd just like to go over everything and re-evaluate it with modern TypeScript in mind. For example, anything specific to TS X should probably be tossed (X would have to be discussed; probably what the DT repo considers as LTS).

And before that probably resolve #495.
