Previous: Installation

This tutorial shows you how to authenticate traktflix in order to start using the extension.

  1. Open Netflix on your browser and login to your account.
  2. Click on the traktflix icon in your browser's toolbar to open the extension popup.

  1. Click on "LOGIN WITH TRAKT.TV".

  1. A new window will open, asking you to login to your Trakt.tv account. After you login, it will ask you to allow traktflix to use your account. Select "Yes".

  1. If you're not using the official Chrome / Firefox extension (or you're on Firefox for Android), you will be redirected to https://www.netflix.com/Activate (as pictured below). Don't do anything in this page, simply wait a few seconds and it will be automatically closed.

  1. Open the extension popup again to make sure that the authentication was successful.

  1. That's it! You can now start scrobbling.
