Become a sponsor to Fergus McDowall
Hi! My name is Fergie McDowall and I live in Oslo, Norway. My day job is working as the IT-architect for the Oslo Public Library.
In my spare time, I create open source software. I am mostly working on and around the search-index
module.
These modules are in moderate use with around ~1.5 million downloads per month at the time of writing (August 2024).
My development focus is to make these projects easier to use though improving documentation. Eventually I would also like to create screencasts and articles. Additionally I want to continue to improve the software, with better performance, new functionality, and increased test coverage.
There are various expenses associated with creating and maintaining these modules which sponsorship would help to cover. I am particularly interested in coming into contact with commercial entities who wish to keep these projects healthy and to move them forward.
