Who are you?

I'm Chris, a game developer from the Midwest and the creator of Export Sheet Data. I originally developed ESD to streamline my game's development but decided to release it as an official add-on for Google Sheets once I realized how useful it could be for all kinds of workflows.

Why sponsor you?

Sponsoring will allow me to dedicate more time to updating and maintaining ESD. This means more options when exporting your data, more documentation and example resources, and faster turnaround time for bugs and feature requests. Fun fact: if 0.4% of ESD's users sponsored me, I could practically work on ESD fulltime!

If you ever feel like your sponsorship is not worthwhile you can cancel anytime, no questions asked.

Benefits

1. Prioritized task resolution: Issues created by you will have faster turnaround times. This doesn't mean that I will focus solely on tasks from sponsors, but I will generally attempt to work on them before less pressing issues.
2. Expanded Resources: ESD already has a fairly robust amount of text documentation. As I get more support, I'll be able to create things like example files and video tutorials to explain ESD's features in detail.

Ethics

Sponsoring me goes a long way towards ensuring ESD remains actively maintained but there are some limitations.

1. No feature exclusivity: All code and features will be folded into ESD's main branch so the entire community can enjoy them. If you are a company that requires more control over the code (for security/privacy reasons, etc) you can contact me directly.
