Built with React + Vite and hosted with Github Pages
To run the project, you can follow these steps:
- Clone the repository using the following command
git clone https://github.com/singhAmandeep007/singhAmandeep007.github.io.git
- Rename folder and navigate to the project directory
- Install and use the correct version of Node using NVM
nvm install
- Install the dependencies
npm install
- Start the development server
npm run dev
- Run format and lint checks
npm run lint
- Change
VITE_APP_NAME
in.env.development
and.env.production
file. - Change
profilePic.webp
,favicon.ico
,logo*.png
,manifest.json
inpublic
directory. - Add/Remove logos in
public/logos
directory to suite your tech stack. Update their names insrc/Common/techLogos.ts
file.- You can use https://worldvectorlogo.com/ to get SVG icons.
- Add/Remove Themes in
src/Common/styles.config.ts
file.- Default theme gets applied in
src/GlobalStyle.tsx
file.
- Default theme gets applied in
- Update path of
Loading Component
insrc/Components/Loading/index.tsx
file as per your initials. - Update
SidebarMenuData
,HomeData
,AboutData
,ProjectsData
files directory as per your information.
To toggle checking of TypeScript and ESLint errors while developing using Vite plugins and environment variables, you can follow these steps:
- Open the
.env.development
file. - Toggle the
VITE_ESLINT_DEV_CHECK
|VITE_TSC_DEV_CHECK
environment variable totrue
orfalse
based on your requirement. This configuration enables or disables the TypeScript and ESLint error checking. - Save the changes and restart your development server.

- Github Access Token for your project
- How to generate Github access token ?
- Go to your Github account settings
- Click on Developer Settings
- Click on Personal Access Token 4. Click on Fine-grained personal access tokens
- Click on Generate new token
- Give your token a name and select the scopes you want to grant to this token ( Read only )
- Click on Generate token
- Copy the token and save it
.env.local
file. - Don't share your token with anyone or commit it to your repository.
- How to add this token in secrets to be used in workflow later ?
- Go to your repository
- Click on Settings
- Click on Secrets and Variables -> Actions
- Click on New repository secret
- Add your token and give it the name
VITE_APP_GITHUB_TOKEN
- Click on Add secret
- Use this secret in your workflow file
- You need to first pick colors for your theme i.e. primary color, background color and font color.
