This is a hotfix release of the previous version (pre-rtm).

What's new:

  • Fix several cases of logonui and explorer crash caused by wrong usp10.dll;
  • Fixed installation on Longhorn 5001, however, disabled on 5000. A solution is in study;
  • Fix for XP x64 on real machine, with black screen. However, KVM will not work, keep with artifacts on screen;
  • Fix for cases of startup stuck with mouse pointer and not completing login;
  • Fix for no internet connection in some XP SP3 and Server 2003 SP2 installations;
  • Fix mmc for polish installation;
  • Fix for missing "d3dwine.dll" on x86 application running in XP x64;
  • Fixed LibreOffice 24.8 x64 with missing funtion on crypt32 and updated cryptex to match on xp x64;
  • Fixed issue with Telegram, both architectures (x86 and x64)

Known issues:

  • On Some Windows installation languages you can face empty window on MMC applets: you can go to C:\Windows\mui\fallback<LCID of your lang> and detele mmc.exe.mui and mmcbase.dll.mui;
  • Compatibility crash make explorer crash on XP RTM;
  • All Android emulators at new versions not install on all systems;
  • Qualcomm Atheros Wifi driver (m2 device) and AMD PCNET driver fail with code 10 after OCA setup, on XP x64, Server 2003 and Longhorn 5000/5001;
  • OCA cause video glitch (Windows becomes unusable) on XP x64 on KVM-Linux;
  • Some new git is hanging on Server 2003 and XP 32 bits, however, latest seem working file (except cannot load icon, due is png icon);
  • Virtual Box machines not work on XP SP3 with error on VM startup. And x64 get delay on operations ;
  • Electron apps (like Visual Code) keep in memory after close what seem caused by gpu/wined3d issue. Try add "--disable-gpu" parameter on shortcut and choose "disable gpu acceleration on application settings ;
  • Firefox keep in memory sometimes after close;
  • Firefox youtube not work in almost all cases, You can try disable sandbox, however, the best solution is port Media Foundation from Windows 7;
  • Chrome 111+ and Opera (all version after 36) Sandbox keep not working;

Always as ever, thank you so much Murak, which found out the reasons for many apps failing. Also, thank you so much my friend Svyatpro, from Betaarchive, to help use compiling Latest wined3d and reporting errors and solutions. This release was focused on improvements and stability. However, some features have been implemented. Since several things was changed, strongly recommend uninstall previous version and install the new.

What's new:

  • Almost complete reorganization of binaries;
  • Introduce support for XP RTM, SP1, Server 2003 RTM, OpenXP, Longhorn 5000 and Longhorn 5001. On XP RTM and SP1, for Chromium based applications, you must need create a shortcut and add "--no-sandbox" directly, otherwise, you will get a error. However, it is still recommended to use XP SP3 and 2003/XP x64 SP2 with updates to run OCA;
  • Silencing all Windows File protection dialog boxes;
  • Fixing Windows Vista Sidebar, Windows Calendar and Windows Backup utility;
  • Adding CardGames.dll for x86 and preparing for support Microsoft games just copying over XP/2003 installation;
  • Replacing wrappers with native dlls and using wrappers as extensions;
  • Fixing Supermium 126+;
  • Fixing "Side by Side" error in some new apps, like Palemon, Jetbrains (a special case is firefox 90-112 in Xp);
  • Improved installation method, what you don't face several errors what's happened before reboot, like if try open some control panel apps;
  • Adding New Compatibility Layers, like Win 10 1511 until Win11 24H2;
  • Adding NNN4NT5 Shortcut to System tools;
  • Fixing a Chrome installer until 109 partially: chrome installer reinforced the OS version requirement, so, you don't able to install at now. However, some features have been implemented.

What's new:

  • Introducing Windows 8 codecs, like windows 7. it's provide multithreading and image support in IE10 Preview 1. NOTE: Installing WIC causes PNG support to break. Just install OneCoreAPI a second time if that happens;
  • Introducing Windows 8 gdiplus, what include GDI+ 1.1 while keeping support with GDI+ 1.0 applications.for support new apps, like office 2013+;
  • Sandbox support has been extended to include Chromium 90 to 110 and Electron software up to 23-based versions.
    NOTE: Chromium 110 sandbox might have unexpected issues. Stick with Chromium 109 or Supermium for a proper sandbox.Improved stability for Steam and now skype open;
  • Fix Win xp x64 restart black screen on Real hardware.
  • Almost full support for Paint .net 4.0.2. However, need d3d native runtime and windows 8 dwrite.dll;
  • Removed driver package from main repository due to stability reasons, moved to extras. Drivers will only be included if it improves software compatibility. [example, ksecdd.sys and in the future: npfs.sys, msfs.sys]
  • Fixed a regression from the RC3 release where Discord 0.0.309 crashes;
  • A proper fix has been added to Paint.NET 3.5 instead of a workaround.

This is a hotfix release from the previous release. However, introduce almost complete support for QT6 apps;

What's new:

  • Fixed no internet connection on non updated XP x64 or Server 2003;
  • Updating some dlls needed to support propertly QT6 apps;
  • Tested TeamSpeek 3 and seem work on XP;
  • Introducing support for OBS 30 on x64.;
  • Try improve stability of steam on XP, XP x64 and Server 2003. However, a builtin -cef-disable-sandbox was removed on XP due seem more stable if you put manually. So, for XP 32 bits, you need add to shortcut:
    -cef-disable-sandbox;
    And if keep crashing steamwebhelper, try add too:
    --disable-gpu

WARNING:
By testing, was discovered several some applications try use AVX/AVX2 instructions, and it not supported by kernel at this moment. So, for use in Vmware, you must need include the follow lines on .vmx file (edit with text editor, like notepad, notepad++ or some like this)

On real machine, the application will be fail to load, due seem impossible disable avx/avx2 instructions

  • Introduce support for Steam. Now, we can loggin. download and run games. However, several games depends of Third Game Launchers, what maybe not supported yet. Also, Old valve games (CS 1.6, Half-Life. etc) seem getting a error on startup;
  • Increasing support for JetBrains Applications (Intelij, Android Studio, PyCharm, WebStorm, etc) up to version 2021.1.3.
  • Introduced support for qBitorrent for latest version;
  • Some fixes for VirtualBox, however, keep not start VM;
  • Found the reason of XP x64 on real machine, and fixed. It will be fix startup in several cases;
  • Fixed Visual code 1.22, 1.53 until version 1.88-1.89 on all systems;
  • Added d3d12 to D3D Runtime Package to provide support for OBS 30. However, keep failing.
  • Half support for QT6. Several applications keep failing;
  • Fixed WMI (Windows Management Intrumentation). It will be .net framework installation work fine;
  • Fixed getmac hang issue, mainly when try open old visual studio code;
  • Improved support for latest Eclipse IDE version;
  • Added Postman, Insominia, CcleanerBrowser to sandbox whitelist. Also, these applications work at latest version;

What's new:

  • Introducing support for ALL edge versions. Before, only versions 102-122 were supported. Now, the range is complete: 75-122; This was made possible through fixes in the kernelbase, which especially had an incorrect function, and the implementation of the FLS API mechanism in XP. Also on Wiindows Server 2003 and XP x64 the entire versions are supported;
  • Added almost entire support for XP SP2 and Server 2003/XP x64 SP1;
  • And speaking of FLS implementation, it also fixes the TightVNC program on Windows XP.
  • Hack removal for Chrome versions starting from version 88;
  • Remove dependency of FLS functions from kernelbase on Server 2003 and XP x64;
  • Intregration of WindowsCodecs dlls from wine to get more compatibility, since if use Windows 8 dlls, break the PNG support;
  • Fixing firefox installer of versions 89-100~ on Windows XP;
  • Memory usage of chromium applications now in Wow64 too by changing the base address of some dlls;

  • Added some functions into esent.dll, what now you can run spotify, steam (without login work yet) and several others Chrome Embbeded aplications now fixed;
  • Added some functions into powrprof to support LeagueDisplay;
  • Due already integrated native dwrite, now telegram works like a charm on Xp x86, zoom too. Opera 39-49 too.
  • Seem fixed Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 installer has glitches on texts and messages;
  • Fixed warning message when click in service on services.msc in XP x64;
  • Fixed Base Installer frozen install if you uninstall and install again error.

One more time, thank you so much Murak, which found out the reasons for many apps failing. We have some news, now, Edge 116-121 working! Introducing for modern Open/Save Dialog, what fixes several applications, including browsers. So, for now, only need .

What's new:

  • Introducing of almost IFileDialog implementation on XP/2003. The IFileDialog was introduced on Vista, to replace older APIs, GetSaveFileName and GetOpenfilename, used to choose where and put a name of file to open/save. Several applications require that implatation, like: Visual Studio Code, Palemoon, Modern chrome, Edge, Opera and all Chromium based browsers, Windows 7 Wordpad, Vista Movie Maker, Modern Notepad++, and others. On Save files, you may get a missing characters on extension. Under investigation
  • Introducing support for Edge 116 - 121;
  • Basilisk, Palemoon for Windows 7 or for XP now working fine again;
  • Issue of click on a service on Services.msc, you get a message with error before the dialog open fixed;
  • Clean Flash Player seem working on all platform and windows version supported;
  • Issues during navigation on google maps and other sites seem fixed on chromium browsers;
  • Added AmdPPM driver;
  • Adding multilanguage support for dxdiag;
  • Fixed NotepadEx on Open/Save action;
  • Windows XP kernel was updated with Server 2003 Syscalls and some functions.

Known issues:

  • Discovered the reason of Chromium and based browsers memory leak: Seem dlls with no base address. Under in investigation;
  • Chromium 49 and maybe below sandbox not working. Under in investigation;
  • Driver Update package has a updated HD audio and maybe cause not audio device;
  • Some applications what require Administrator rights prompt "Run as" dialog and cannot be installed, stuck the installation;
  • Gimp 2.10-2.99 installer get a extraction error on server 2003;
  • Black Box game repack installers get a error during installation;
  • If you try uninstall Base Package before Driver update or Additional Dlls, you may get a BSOD;
  • Base Installer frozen install if you uninstall and install again. The workaround is terminate the SCHTASKS process on task manager;
  • Speccy installer has wrong behavior on Windows XP and not install right. And both Windows XP, Server 2003 and XP x64 not work when load, generating a error;
  • Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 installer has glitches on texts and messages;
  • Paint.net 3.5.11 generate an unhandled error at startup on Windows XP/Server 2003;
  • Java 1.8.191 not install on XP SP3 and Server 2003 x86;

One more time, thank you so much Murak, which found out the reasons for many apps failing. We have some news, now, Edge 115 and Firefox 116 are supported. Visual Studio code and Skype now create shortcut. On server 2003, XP x64 and XP now chromium use less memory, however, client has workaround to do it: need use in compatbility mode.

What's new:

  • Completely rewrite of SRW and ConditionVariable API using XPExpert (https://github.com/zeroclear/xpext) for SRW and YY-Thunks(https://github.com/Chuyu-Team/YY-Thunks) for ConditionVariable. Thanks for both. It's seem fix Firefox download for every version after 54, fix Edge 115 and several other things; Now, wine tests for sync has only 1 failure, before 11 or more. It's maybe fix several other applications;
  • Edge 115 is supported. 116 keep with error and not load;
  • Firefox 116 are supported and sandbox is disabled by default with builtin a user variable;
  • Visual Studio Code, Skype and other application what need run in compatbility mode now create shortcut without problem. Before got a erro: "Interface not supported".However, if you use NNN4NT5 for Comaptbility with Vista+, explorer will got some errors with quick launch:
    • On Server 2003/XP x64, it's increase to much the quick launch width. Need unlock taskbar and resize manually;
    • On XP, always get quick launch disabled on reboot;
  • Chromium and based applications now descreased several megabytes on Server 2003 by default and on XP/XP x64 at compatbility mode. In invesgation the behavior on XP/XP x64;
  • Server 2003/XP x64 Activation now seem fixed. Please test again;
  • Maybe BSOD on Core 2 Duo platform with XP could fixed by inclusing of intelppm from XP SP2. Need test;
  • Maybe if you use Vista native D2D1 work on XP. However, D3DKMTCREATEDCFROMMEMORY under in rewrite;

Know bugs:

  • Discovered the reason of Chromium and based browsers memory leak: Seem dlls with no base address. Under in investigation;
  • If you click on a service on Services.msc, you get a message with error before the dialog open;
  • If you try uninstall Base Package before Driver update or Additional Dlls, you may get a BSOD;
  • When you try reinstall Base Package, the setup will frozen at copying "halxxx.dll" You must need end schtasks process to finish installation;

What's new:

  • Support for latest chromium release, 121 at current moment and Opera latest, edge version 114, and others based chromium browsers;
  • Total support for Downloads on chromium based browsers, did at version 3.0.3 RTM;
  • Support for Firefox version 115 (with some restrictions, need more work;
  • Reversed Dwrite to wine because Vista/Windows 7 Plataform Update Dwrite not work with latest chrome version.
  • Partial support for Office 2013 installation. Keep failing at end, but, now, try install. Some componentes, like Word, work better with usp10 update;
  • Added some functions to OneDriver, however, keep not working;
  • Fixing office 2007/2010 fail installation on Server 2003 x86/x64;
