Welcome to the FS2Open Source Code Project wiki!

Here, we'll keep the various how-to's, tips, and tricks regarding the FreeSpace 2 Open's source code, as well as a few pointers in cross-platform design and play testing.

We have an existing wiki at Hard Light that has many useful information already, but we will migrate that information over to here in the coming years to make it more visible to contributors.

If you want to contribute code please read about our coding style and contribution guidelines.

If you are interested in using a third party library, please be sure to visit our page on third party libraries and licensing, as FSO has an odd-ball license that doesn't play well with a few license types (in particular GPL).
