2025 new project, pineapple60s
Row-Staggered Ergonomic (Alice) keyboard with Kailh PG1316 for installing ThinkPad X13 Gen2
For this modification, I chose the target PC for the following reasons:
- It has a Trackpoint
- The keyboard can be easily replaced (the latest ThinkPads are getting difficult)
- The Trackpoint buttons should be on the case, not on the keyboard unit. Otherwise, I would need to attach the buttons to the keyboard I was making.
The following ThinkPads meet the above requirements:
- T440 to T460, and so on
- T460s and T470s
- X13 Gen2 and Gen3
X240 to X270 are also close, but we need to remove the motherboard to remove the keyboard.
