will be logged as soon as printing thistemplate is attempted.
avoiding the mess with different magics, instead calling the 'proper' command 'file' by subprocess.

changing things again - on installs with python-magic by yum/apt python fails to run, because it relies on something different than the package actually existing.
This avoids python-magic totally, but may break installs in systems that don't have 'file' (i.e. Windows)
