This is a ChupaText decomposer plugin for to extract text and meta-data from office documents such as Microsoft Word files and LibreOffice Writer files.

You can use abiword decomposer.

Install

Install chupa-text-decomposer-abiword gem:

% gem install chupa-text-decomposer-abiword

Now, you can extract text and meta-data from office documents:

% chupa-text document.doc
