PU Library IT Handbook

The repository walks you through best practices, culture, and technological corner cases on PU Library. These are the parts that are tricky to fully automate or in some cases not possible to. These are also the shared norms and best practices agreed upon across teams in PUL IT which, because they are shared, do not fit solely into one team's handbook.

The PU Library developer and operations teams also have their own team handbooks:

Services

See the list of services with hard-way documentation under /services.

Target Audience

The target audience for the services in this repository is any person planning to support a production application and needs to understand how things fit together. While it is specific to PU Library it will be possible to use it in your environment.

Norms

See the list of documented norms under /norms.

Misc Resources

  • A .gitmessage template to add easy-to-uncomment co-authored-by lines for many PUL developers.
