A proof of concept data.json editor based on json-editor. The form generates YAML as an output/export which is used by Static Hosted sites like Jekyll/Github Pages and can be used to generate a valid collection of individual files dynamically into a consolidated data.json file that can then be harvested by data.gov. This editor is currently BETA
targeting full feature integration as an editor for the JKAN project to offer a lightweight, no/low cost, low tech metadata management platform.
The Easiest way to get it up and running, is to fork this project, go to the repository settings, change the default branch to
gh-pages
, push any old commit (i.e. edit README) to intitate the build... Then go to https://yourname.github.io/datajson-editor
