Got the Basics, What is Next?

If you have the basics, you may be wondering what's next? Or, how to contribute? Because this is a Telligent Community Extension, coding the KCG should be similar to the Blogs, Forums, and Wikis, following the "Content Model" we need to add Containers, Applications, Content and attached the Core Services. Following is the Telligent diagram documented here:: A considerable amount of tasks are needed, but the awesome thing is, Telligent has already laid out the way forward in other Open Source projects, e.g. Big Social Polling Application or Links Application

Vision: Ontology Containers vs. Group Containers

You may notice the project has Containers (ontology), while, the Applications are part of the Telligent's Groups Containers. The Administration Panels, a 9.x improvement from 5.x old control panels, offer a UI overview and CRUD UI for ontology containers. Ontology, as a Container, offer tools to manage license API's, organize applications, content like sources, maps, and metrics or network metadata, additionally, Telligent Community core services can be attached to the Ontology providing collaboration and notification.

Some more thought is needed on this to define how Ontology would differ from a Community Group. That being said, the container and applications related to Ontology are a lower priority.
