The Grab Bag of Scripts for Amazon EC2 ("Grab Bag" for short) is a collection of utility scripts for working with Amazon EC2. It includes scripts for creating instances, creating RAID arrays, backing up volumes, updating ELBs, and updating your /etc/hosts file with aliases for your EC2 instances.
There are two main purposes for the Grab Bag:
- The Grab Bag contains useful scripts, such as a backup script, that you may want to use by themselves.
- The Grab Bag can be used as examples when creating your own scripts.
If you have something to contribute, such as a new feature, bug fix, or even a helpful script you've been using, you are encouraged to submit a pull request with your contribution.
