Internationalization Support for osTicket

osTicket 1.7 RC2 translated to Brazilian Portuguese using PHP getText. Easily changeable to other languages via .po and .mo files. Configuration lines included in ost-config. JavaScript files still lack translation, but PHP messages are believed to be fully translated.

Estou com o sistema traduzido quase que completamente já. Estou fazendo merge de todo código novo que é postado pelo pessoal do osTicket em nosso fork. A idéia era que a versão final já fosse lançada com internacionalização, se fosse bem aceita pela comunidade.

The system is almost fully translated. I'm merging every new line of code changed by the osTicket staff into our fork. The idea is to include internationalization support in the release version of osTicket, if the community and the development leaders agree.

Sou novo nestas andanças do getttext mas já uso o osticket há muito tempo (1,6) que na altura traduzi ficheiro a ficheiro (:)).
Adorei esta nova versão e gostaria de ajudar na implementação de linguagens.
Já publicou os ficheiros alterados?

I'm new in these wanderings of getttext but I use osTicket (1.6) loog time from now, which at the time I translated file by file (:)).
I loved this new version and would like to help in the implementation of languages​​.

Can someone please tell me how can I help on translations pt_PT?
I use osticket for a long time but I'm new with gettext (I think it's with gettext!).
Can someone just tel me what file(s) I can download to start translation?

Other question, when next versions are released we don't have to write again the php changed files????

There is a problem in the file I got from your repository : when I try to safe with "PoEdit", it tells me that at line 1537 there is a end-of-line character within the string...

It was a problem in MY file ^^ (double quote twice at the end of a line)

By the way. I've sent a 75% translated version to the mail you specified above.

Baixei o osticket 1.7 com a pasta com a tradução para o portugues (pt_BR) mas quando instalo ele fica em inglÊs, como posso mudar para portuguÊs, preciso com uma urgência poderiam me ajudar:

Eu ia ajudar o Gustavo27 dizendo que era somente informar em

define('LANG','pt_BR');

no arquivo ost-config.php localizado na subpasta include, mas não funcionou no meu caso, simplesmente não consigo ver a tradução, alguma ajuda amigos do Interlegis?

Fabio, onde encontro um tutorial para colocar a tradução corretamente?
Comecei a colocar, as traduções, mas não aparece o português e sou roda dura em inglês.
Instalei a versão 1.7.2.
Qualquer ajuda é bem vinda

I am setting up osticket but i want to do the same you are doing in Spanish, and i also want to know if once i have set it up in english, i can load it in aditional language without reinstalling everithing,

There is no multilanguage version of osTicket at this time.
