Contributing and CLA
The Nova CLA is a modified version of the Apache Software Foundation - Contributor License Agreement.
This particular agreement has been used by other software projects and is generally accepted as reasonable within the Open Source community.
Read the following carefully, to determine which CLA applies to you.
If you're working on the project as an individual, you should request the ICLA.
- Send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject "ICLA Request".
- Follow the instructions in the subsequent response to conclude this Agreement through a digital signature solution.
If you're working on the project as part of your job, you and your employer will need to request and sign the CCLA.
You should also still sign an individual CLA in that case.
Not all the work you do will necessarily belong to your employer and we still need permission to license your individual contributions.
So it is recommended to use your personal e-mail address in the contact details, rather than your professional one.
This version of the Agreement allows a legal entity (the "Corporation") to submit Contributions, to authorize Contributions submitted by its designated employees, and to grant copyright and patent licenses thereto.
- Send an e-mail to [email protected] with the subject "CCLA Request".
- Follow the instructions in the subsequent response to conclude this Agreement through a digital signature solution.
We only use your data for the purpose of the CLA.
We do not disclose or share any information about your data enclosed in the signed CLA documents.
We process your data within the European Economic Area. This means that we also store your data within the EEA. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to contact us.
