Run Locally on Your Machine

You need Node, NPM and MongoDB properly installed.

Clone this repository

    git clone https://github.com/mittalprince/Social-Web.git

Setup the environment variables replacing <mongo_uri> with your mongodb uri, <express_session_secret> with some random-text.

    create .env file inside project directory with your mongo_uri, express_session_secret variables

Install dependencies

    npm install

This will start dev server at http://localhost:8000.

    node server.js

• Backend: NodeJS, ExpressJS, PassportJS.
  
• Database: MongoDB.
  
• Frontedn: Bootstrap, jQuery.
