Hi Amelia,
I will let the EF know about this suggestion, but I don't see them agreeing to it. Granted this proposal does originate from the EF, but there are some organizations and/or individuals in the MP space that may agree with the direction of a single WG. To say that it is not "endorsed" by MP is an overstatement. In the same light, I know there are aspects of the separate WG proposal that are acceptable by some people at the EF. So, I would rather not get into a game of "MP proposal vs EF proposal". That's counterproductive. But, I will let them know about this issue and let them decide. Thanks!

The requested addition is factually incorrect. The Eclipse Foundation drafted this proposal in collaboration with multiple individuals and organizations within the Eclipse MicroProfile community.

Further, the point of this exercise is to give the MicroProfile community the opportunity to express their opinions. Any statement that the community does not endorse this proposal is premature.

@waynebeaton Can you confirm that CN4J is intended to be more broad than just MicroProfile and Jakarta EE? I had a conference booth conversation with Mike and he mentioned that CN4J could incorporate additional cloud native java projects in the future.
