== Two-columns layout

Some old ISO standards published in the two-columns layout. You cas switch the default
one-column layout to two-columns layout by the document attribute (for PDF only):

```
:presentation-metadata-layout-columns: 2
```

In the two-columns layout Metanorma displays the figures and tables in the 'full page'
width (as in one-column layout), but you can switch to 'text width' (or 'column width') mode
by the option `width=text-width`, for instance:

```
[cols="<,^,^,^,^",options="header,footer",headerrows=2,width=text-width]
.Maximum permissible mass fraction of defects
|===
```

In this case the maximum width of the table or figure will be same as column width.
