This is the draft 4th edition of the New Zealand Soil Classification (NZSC). 🚧 The draft is under review from 5th December 2024 to 30th April 2025 🚧. Feedback can be provided via the Github Repository, or email at SoilStandards@landcareresearch.co.nz. A Word-format version of the draft is also available here (DOCX, 1.6 MB), for those more comfortable reviewing in that environment.

The third edition of the NZSC [@hewitt2010] should be treated as current until this review is finalised, and can be downloaded from the Manaaki Whenua Digital Library.
