The owner of this repo passed away in May. He is missed. I worked with him on some projects.

A seller recently sent me an adapter based on the rtl8852cu chip and they sent the latest copy of the code. I am bringing up a repo this week. It is a private repo for testing. I can give you access if you are interested in testing. Let me know.
