Types of styling overrides

Because of the complexities of style overrides, the UI Components provide three strategies for style overrides:

• A className prop, appended as the last class in the outermost HTML element.
• A CSS class definition override, which allows consumers to completely redefine the contents of a particular CSS class.
• A set of custom colors that are used as inline styles (only for some components)
