This old issue again? I've read a couple of the closed issues on this topic and wasn't able to resolve the issue. I can load the game and get into the info-center without using Rebuilder. Granted the background bitmap isn't there. This is using the files from the CD only. It seems to work fine using DGVooDoo. I'm not sure if I messed up my computer or not. I have done multiple uninstalls and reinstalls using the CD ROM and the LEGO Island Alternate Installer.

I don't see a Rebuilder folder in AppData\Local\Temp
I don't have a registry key for Mindscape: under Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Mindscape

I'm having the same problem. The game boots fine with dgVoodoo2 and d3drm.dll when not using Rebuilder.

When using Rebuilder I get the following error:

All settings left at default aside from Direct 3D HAL, otherwise I get a blank screen with audio only.

When you switch to Direct3D HAL, also enable Draw 3D to Video Memory and Flip Video Memory Pages and see what happens.

Flip Video Memory Pages did the trick, thanks! It's possibly needed to support dgVoodoo2 but I can't test that theory as I'm unable to boot HW mode without dgVoodoo2, Rebuilder or not.
