SEPA direct debit

SEPA stands for Single Euro Payments Area, which is a European Union system enabling Euro payments to be made more easily within EU countries and participating third countries.
We allow users in the EU to pay for recurring contributions with a SEPA direct debit. Users provide their account holder name, IBAN, and basic address details, and we use these to set up a recurring payment mandate with Stripe. As these details are not sensitive in the same way as credit or debit card details we handle the values directly and validate them against our schema.
- We do not currently accept SEPA payments for subscription products
