…eserved bytes. This is returned from the server on a hello response. This change captures and uses the session ID for all messages sent to the current instance of the connection the Session ID was for.

These fixes were required to successfully complete updates to motes. Using Python 3 and Network based SerialMux.
Type mismatches and missing exception handling halted the process part way through.
