Hi, my name is Dan Dalpiaz. I am a Web Application Developer at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in the University Library. I receieved a B.S. degree in Chemistry and Molecular & Cellular Biology at UIUC and am a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC). Here are some selected web projects I’ve worked on over the years:
- bookmarks-startpage - browser extension that displays bookmarks on simple, customizable pages
- A similar demo web app, demo.linking.page
- markdown-pages.js - simple Markdown-based static sites, without the generator
- Library Wiki - multi-site MediaWiki farm used by the Library at Illinois
- Drive Music Player - browser-based music player for Google Drive (WIP)
- ORCID @ Illinois - integration to connect user ORCID iDs to campus directory
- LAS Websites - contributed to framework for departmental sites at Illinois
