@jennifer-shehane I haven't been able to get unique-selector working with this patch and I'm not familiar with how this actually works either, so any help finishing this up would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't get any further as https://github.com/ericclemmons/unique-selector needs to be updated AFAIK and it appears to have been abandoned. You can probably close it.
