Closes #18

Make sure to install extensions under the $_REMOTE_USER instead of the root user.

Whilst this is a fix, one could also argue this is a breaking change. When considering the next release with this, should we do a major bump or patch bump?

Regarding version bump, probably no harm to bump major.
