The official
@ai-sdk/google-vertex(/edge) expects google credentials (private key etc) which it exchanges for a token, therefore the trick we use in other factory wrappers to provide a dummy token and later intercepting it, cannot work as is here.This PR uses
pnpm patchto modify the upstream package to support bypassing this token exchangeThis direct passing of token is being introduced upstream in the next major version of the package vercel/ai@4d2e88e so the hack can be dropped when supporting the next major version of ai sdk
