So, let’s go start off. What is transaction replacement? And maybe not the best screen, but this is a screenshot of the Bitcoin wallet, Blue Wallet, and it shows off transaction replacement very nicely. I have a transaction, I got rid of $25 worth of Bitcoin, and I can do two things, I can go bump the fee or cancel the transaction, and if any of you guys played around with it, it does what it expects, it increases the fee or it cancels it.

Vortex: ZeroLink for Lightning Opens

(The start of the talk is missing from the source media)

Introduction My name’s Adam Gibson, also known as waxwing on the internet. Though the title might suggest that I have the solution to the problem of implementing CoinJoin, it’s not exactly true. It’s a clickbait. I haven’t, but I suppose what I can say in a more serious way is that I’m proposing what I consider to be a meaningfully different alternative way of looking at the concept of CoinJoin and therefore at the concept of on-chain privacy because the conversation nowadays about on-chain privacy tends to be dominated by CoinJoin.

I’m Pavel Rusnak, known as Stik in the Bitcoin community. I’m the co-founder of Satoshi Labs, the company that brought Trezor. Today I’m going to be talking about the challenges of implementing CoinJoin in hardware wallets.
Why Privacy Let’s summarize why privacy matters. Among all reasons I consider these reasons as most important.

Introduction Alright. Are we ready to get going? Thumbs up? Alright. Cool. I am Andrew and this is David. We’re here to talk about blockchain design patterns: layers and scaling approaches. This will be a tour of a bunch of different scaling approaches in bitcoin in particular but it’s probably applicable to other blockchains out there. Our talk is in 3 parts. We’ll talk about some existing scaling tech and related things like caching transactions and mempool propagation.

Ideal Number Of Full Bitcoin Nodes

https://twitter.com/kanzure/status/838481130944876544
Today I am going to be talking about bitcoin full nodes. Can everyone hear me? Okay, great. I don’t actually think there’s a specific number. I think a lot of people do. They look for a number. 5000 is about how many we have today, 6000. Some people ask whether it’s a good number. I think that’s the wrong way to look at the role of full nodes in the ecosystem.

Asics

ASIC design for mining
