yeah, another mid ahh online chat app. why i make this? ofc bcs i got so much free time (jobless).
WinChat is basically a real-time anonymous chat app where you can talk to random people on the internet without the commitment of creating an account. Just type your name (or lie, I don't care) and start yapping. It's built with vanilla JavaScript and Firebase because sometimes you gotta keep it simple (not like ur typically over-engineering ahh web developer), ya know?
but because currently no one using it, im gnna use it for my personal online notes lol
My Answer : Bcs i can and why not? it's just firebase api key for shitty mid ahh online chat app that no one use, not Donald Trump secret key for launching a missile to ur fking house.
- Anonymous AF - No login, no email, no selling your soul to Zuckerberg or elon musk shit. Just pick a username and go.
- Real-time chat - Messages appear faster than your ex sliding into someone else's DMs.
- Profanity filter - I got a bad word detector that turns your spicy language into asterisks. Sorry Karen, I'm trying to keep it PG-13 lol.
- Mobile responsive (ofc every website do this) - Works on your phone, tablet, ur fking android refrigerator, or whatever device you're using to procrastinate right now.
- Press Enter to send - idk do i should mention it or not.
- Plain ol' HTML/CSS/JavaScript - No fancy frameworks, we keep it OG
- Firebase Realtime Database - For that sweet, sweet real-time data sync
- Zero dependencies besides Firebase - I'm a minimalist here
- Runs on hopes, dreams, and probably someone's free hosting plan
Feel free to fork it, clone it, or improve it. if u do that (damn u have so much free time ya?), i think ur jobless rn.
