+### Project Description / Scope of Work
+#### Finance Commitee
+Kelle Cruz is the Chair of the Finance Committee and Ana Gabela provides administrative support to the activties of this committee. Together, we are responsible for the day-to-day operations of managing the finances of the project. In particular, we take on the actions needed in order to move money from NumFocus to Astropy Contractors. We also help run the funding request process and travel funding requests.

+#### SPOC
+Kelle Cruz is an engaged member of the Strategic Planning and Organizing Committee, which is charged with getting the Roadmap implemented. I am particularly interested in identifying a workflow for systematically tracking progress on roadmap items.
+
+#### Roadmap Items
+- Maintain existing funding sources (e.g., NASA).
+- Define and staff the strategic planning role.
+- Recruit for unfilled team positions.
+
+#### Project / Work / Deliverables
+Kelle's responsibilties include:
+- Lead weekly meetings of the Finance Committee
+- Maintain up-to-date records of funds committed, spent, and available.
+- Coordinate decisions and policies with NumFocus Finance team
+- Attend weekly meetings of the SPOC
+- Figure out how to translate money into a progress on the Roadmap
+
+Ana's responsibilities will continue to be:
+- Attend weekly meetings of the Finance Committee and assist with scheduling
+- Assist with tracking invoices and payments, making sure projects are invoicing regularly or at least every three months.
+- Facilitate COTR checkins for Astropy funded projects.
+- Help with hiring: draft job ads, posting job ads, handling applications, selection rubric, triaging applications, scheduling interviews, selection and record the process for others to follow in the future.
+- Assist with balance tracking and reporting
+- Communicating with finance committee members, cotars, and project leads.  
+
+### Approximate Budget
+Kelle's Budget to Hunter, as 1 month of summer salary, including fringe and overhead:
+- $21,125
+
+Ana's Budget:
+- $7,800 for one year ($650/month)
+
