+The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Kyuubi
+has invited [Senmiao Liu](https://github.com/lsm1) to become a committer and we are pleased
+to announce that he has accepted.

+Senmiao Liu has been contributing to Apache Kyuubi for 3 years, including
+feature implementation, docs/testing improvement, bug fixing, etc. In
+particular, he has contributed to multiple engines such as Spark,
+Trino,and JDBC.

+Being a committer enables easier contribution to the
+project since there is no need to go via the patch
+submission process. This should enable better productivity.
