Hi, I’m Amy.
I am an interdisciplinary researcher investigating questions nested in landscape ecology and community ecology (with a side love for disease ecology). My research interests cover a broad range of topics, but I am particularily interested in taking trait-based and community-level approaches to investigate the effects of changing environments on (arthropod) communities! Ultimately, my work aims to help better understand, predict, and mitigate impact of anthropogenic activities on environmental, animal, and human well-being.
I primarily work with R, but add a sprinkle of GIS (QGIS and ArcGIS Pro) when necessary & love data visualization and wrangling, exploring, and analyzing big data sets.
