Ha, well I dropped the ball on this one didn't I? Sorry for the insanely delayed response. I like this idea - but I'd want to update the plugin to support this feature as well, for consistency. Will add a note to do so and merge this in when that happens. |

Adds a new region type option which is Countries (alpha3). Basically it allows you to store the field data as alpha3, and the display_field dropdown menu uses alpha3 codes for the option values. Works better for CartThrob this way.
If you're not interested, no biggie, I can just maintain my own fork.
