I fixed this many times by just using conda install instead of mamba install, but this does not make any sense.

I think this can be related to conda-incubator/setup-miniconda#371 . The root problem seems that mamba does not work on Git Bash anymore on Windows. I am not sure why this happened, but as the solution of just using conda instead of mamba works fine, let's go for it.
