FocusRead: Bionic Enhancer

Introduction

FocusRead: Bionic Enhancer is a Chrome extension designed to enhance your online reading experience using Bionic Reading technology. This innovative approach converts the text on web pages into a more readable format by bolding strategic parts of words, thereby increasing reading speed and comprehension.

Installation

To install FocusRead:

1. Download a zip file of this repo
2. Unzip the file
3. Open google chrome (or any chromium based browser) and go to the installed extensions page
4. Enable developer mode and click load upacked extension and select the unzipped file

Usage

After installing FocusRead:

1. Click on the FocusRead icon in the Chrome toolbar.
2. Adjust the settings like bold percentage and frequency as per your preference.
3. Click 'Enable' to apply Bionic Reading on the current web page.

Features

• Customizable Bold Percentage: Choose what percentage of each word is bolded.
• Frequency Control: Set how frequently the Bionic Reading style is applied (every X words).
• Easy Toggle: Easily enable or disable Bionic Reading on any webpage.

Development

To contribute to FocusRead, clone the repository and follow these steps:
