Recently entered my 2nd year studying Software Development.
Someone who believes in:
First of all... being authentic.
Lifelong learning... and that truly passionate individuals achieve mastery at their own pace.
Failure being a strong material to use as a foundation for success.
Clear, empathetic communication with team members (and everyone else too).
A kind word and support... as that can sometimes be more helpful than technical jargon.
Assisting a peer to find their purpose... which may more quickly lead them to the answers they have been searching for... Now, and in moments that you may not be available.
Helping others without expecting recognition or public reward.
Taking the steps to actively listen, observe, plan, gather resources, and critically think, as they can have a higher ROI than... blindly starting to code.
Fully understanding the problem and pain points of the user before attempting to solve it.
Lifting up others and finding ways to align and remain productive... innovative, rather than highlighting ways to disagree and remain stagnant.
There often being more than one solution to a problem. Sometimes, it's better to take the time to celebrate the leaps forward towards resolution before stress testing every step in the process or comparing it to "your way".
Being "out of sight, out of mind" is far better than being "out of pocket" and "out of touch".
DE&I... Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This should be the unwritten rule and not the exception. When done correctly, a sense of belonging is present for all members. Does your organization's leadership create this? Hint: If it feels weird to do... check your biases.
Tech focused on sustainability, better quality of life, scientific research for a better understanding of our environment, and evolution > robot wars.
The world constantly evolving... Perhaps it is better to adapt for survival rather than remain rigid and become fossilized.
Our time being valuable... and that we should respect the universe as it has been here long before our existence and most likely will be here long after.
The world is a big place and the universe is significantly larger, maybe we should leave things better than we found them and not sweat the small stuff.
"There will always be someone that can't see your worth. Don't let it be you." -Mel Robbins
Be kind to yourself. You have come a long way.
Sincerely,
-Yours
I love working in groups. I find my energy in team building and finding the best ways to amplify a team member's passion and talents. I genuinely love to see that moment when a person finds a solution to a problem that they have been putting so much energy and effort into solving. Witnessing these groups eventually start to teach and trust each other, and go on to compliment each others' gifts, is nothing short of magical, and I am grateful to be a part of it. I get a rush out of celebrating the collabative efforts of the team, and getting my hands dirty to help remove road blocks for any member of my crew that might face them. It's never a "them" problem, it's an "us" problem. I might not know the answer, but I am willing to join you so that we can find a solution together.

Either I have built something with, or have an interest in being able to work with the following technologies: (While I realize I have to narrow it down and focus someday, I have just started my second year in Software Development. So, let me live in my moment of discovery and child-like curiosity to keep this excitement at a high level while I have it. 😅)
