Motivation

The eSP for SIDeR Shared Care Record app will require amalgamation of data from multiple data sources.

As this is relatively complex it is important to seek early feedback from end users so that they can contribute to review and design of the user experience.

The SSCR Demonstrator app will allow this feedback to be solicited before SIDeR endpoints are completed.

Questions

Are SIDeR organisations happy to publish demo data as part of the project?

Implementation

Patient demographics

The NHS Digital SMSP OpenTest endpoint will be used as source for patient demographics. This is a copy of the NHS Digital SMSP endpoint that will be used in production.

Clinical information

SIDeR organisations will provide data using APIs following the SIDeR record-locate-retrieve pattern: https://github.com/Somerset-SIDeR-Programme/SIDeR-interop-patterns/wiki/record-locate-retrieve. However, not all organisations have completed their services.

For SSCR Demonstrator, a simple web-server will use static responses to mock responses from SIDeR organisations. The mock will not support:

  • other search parameters (e.g. date)
  • paging
  • security and audit

Each SIDeR organisation will return a set of files for JSON responses to FHIR requests:

path content mocks request
